When a child in foster care turns 18 their care arrangements are terminated and support is no longer provided. The Home Stretch campaign is a national campaign urging governments to allow young people the option of staying in care till the age of 21. Chair of the Home Stretch campaign Paul McDonald, Sarah, a former foster child and foster carer John believe the additional three years could be crucial to some young peoples success.
